Rules / Glossary
Club The USL has 6 Clubs.  Each club consists of 4 squad players (Team) and a coach (Club Manager).
Club Manager A club manager is responsible for coaching the team, selecting players to start in an event, and making player substitutions in a match.
Division The USL has 2 divisions, the USL West and USL East.  Each division has 3 clubs.
Event Events are overall contests between clubs consisting of 3 matches. A Club plays 5 events in the main draw.
Hosting Club A squash facility, who secures a license to host a USL Team.
Match Matches are played between individual players. Each match shall be the best of five games.
Referee A referee and marker must be used for all games. It is the responsibility of the home team to ensure there is a referee and marker for all games and if the home team does not provide one, then the home team will forfeit that string.
Player Replacement Due to changes in personal circumstances or injury a player may be replaced, via a request in writing to the USL Secretary. The player forfeits all team member rights, prize money, bonuses and cannot play for any team until the following season. Replacements must be a current USL Player at the time of team selections. No exceptions.
Final At the end of the main draw the club with highest number of points in each division becomes teh Division Champions of the USL West and USL East. Division Champions play in one final event to determine the United Squash League Champion for the season.
Scoring

Matches are best of 5 games with PAR scoring to 11. If a game score reaches 10-10 (ten all), a player is to win the match by 2 clear points.

Substitution A club manager may substitute a player at the conclusion of a game. If a player is substituted for, he/she may not return to the match. A player may only play in one match per event.
Team Teams are the 4 players selected to represent a club, which includes;

Team Points A club receives points for each match played in an event.
3-0 win worth 6-1, 3-1 win worth 5-2, 3-2 win worth 4-3.
Team Selection Team selection is based on the player’s location, skill level, team play and professional team attitude, and is at the sole discreation of the USL. A player may only represent one team in any one season. There will be no trades during the season.
Tie Breaker To be determined.
Uniforms Club uniforms should be worn on court. White shirts for home team and colored for the visiting.
